aberrant bills (in colour and shape) are rel. common in large gulls making it difficult to use these features for ID. in this bird however its bill is so slim and pointed as it should be in a (female type) caspian gulls and other things like scapular pattern fit this species well. note however strong patterned inner GC and advanced moult including upper tertials.
